| EuroBalance Guide now a wiki |
|
As part of the continuing development of the EuroBalance work life balance Guide, project partners have developed a wiki site for the Guide in all languages. It can currently be accessed at: http://wiki.eurobalance-wlb.eu, although it will soon also be added to the EurBalance website at http://www.eurobalance-wlb.eu. Having it as a wiki marks a major development in the Guide’s history. A wiki site (the most well known being Wikipaedia’ enables anyone in the world to edit and comment of material (usually documents) that are available on the site. In the case of the EuroBalance Guide, the full guide text can be edited by project partners and by others who have been ‘approved’ by the project. Anyone else in the world (including our champions and their beneficiaries) is very free to make comments and suggestions for improvement. You just need to complete a very simple registration process that the site provides. By adopting this approach the EuroBalance project is making extensive use of the new web and social web technologies to enable others to be a strengthening part of the project’s development, as well as furthering the benefits of work life balance across Europe and beyond. In these times of financial constraints everywhere work life balance will play a significant role in helping companies of all sizes, and their employees, to recover more quickly and more securely. The EuroBalance wiki facilities will help us to strengthen this process. |
