Eurobalance forum being developed to sustain work after the project ends

The Eurobalance partnership is currently developing a new opportunity for people to further their interest and knowledge of work life balance across Europe. This is intended to enable the project work and the network that has been developed to continue after the formal end of the project – at the end of September 2011.

The partnership is in the process of developing an internet-based forum that will facilitate the promotion of work life balance across Europe. It will provide opportunities for anyone to discuss work life balance issues and to use and to contribute to the information, documents, etc., that will be available on the website. The forum will also provide news, information about past and current work life balance projects across Europe, policy and other initiatives at EU level, and possible funding sources.

Participation in the Forum will be open to all, including organisations/actors such as: Eurobalance partners and champions; participants in other WLB projects and initiatives; employers and employer organisations; workers representatives and trade unions; NGOs at EU, national and local levels; EU institutions; and national agencies/government departments.

More details of the Forum will be provided in the next newsletter, although anyone interested is welcome to contact the Eurobalance project partners: http://www.eurobalance-wlb.eu
